User validation and KYC (Know-Your-Client Feature), verification, unlock account, receive payouts

All newly registered Vendors and Affiliates must confirm their identity in order to maintain their business activities with CopeCart and receive payouts. This verification process, known as KYC (Know Your Client), is used to ensure that the user is a genuine person and to ensure that the business relationship is free from fraudulent intent.

As soon as you log in to CopeCart, you will receive a notification asking you to continue the validation process in order to receive payments and to buy your products.

We strongly recommend that you complete the validation process as soon as possible, as it may take some time. It is advisable to proceed with it in order not to have any delays in the processing of your payments.


The Vendor/Affiliate must be activated manually by the support team. This requires several steps which are described below. This process will be performed daily by the responsible support employee.

2. Or in the Account settings https://copecart.com/me/account/edit in the company section under the button “Edit data on Stipe”

3. In the overview from Stripe connect you will be asked to fill your phone number and email address:

4. You will be asked to log in into your stripe account

5. Next step will be to verify your phone number. An sms will be sent with the verification code.

6. About your business - in this step, you need to provide the information about your business type and if your business is registered in the Free Zone.

7. Next step will be to provide the IBAN for your payouts.

8. In the Verification Summary you need to provide missing information and add necessary data to be able to be verified successfully

9. Under “Your business" please provide information about the business you are leading. Information correlating to your company will be asked as well as the Trade Licence document, so it is advisable to have it on hand.

10. Under Public details, you will be asked, if not previously attached in your copecart account, to add a customer support email address or phone number.

11. For businesses that have more than one owner or a managing director responsible for company management, you can add the information about the responsible party with addition of other details that describe their role and position.

12. As for the Account representative, you need to add more information and provide also personal documents as well as data that confirm your identity necessary for the verification:

Now you can click on "Agree and Submit" and send your information to Stripe for a verification.

Than you must see the splash screen that says, that you will return to the copecart menu.

IMPORTANT: Expected time for the verification is 24-48 hours.
