In the following article you will find a detailed guide that will show you how to manually create an affiliate link as a vendor. Our step-by-step instructions with pictures will allow you to perform this process effortlessly and optimize your partnerships.

Step 1: Log in to your CopeCart account and select the product for which you want to create an affiliate link. Then click on the "Edit" button.

Step 2: After clicking on "Edit" you will be taken to the product overview. Scroll down to the section "Partnerships - Affiliate Settings" and activate the slider "Promote through Affiliates".

Step 3: Check if the sales page link field contains a valid URL. If necessary, enter a new one. Then click on "Save changes". Now set the commission or amount and enter the corresponding affiliate username in the "Affiliate name" field.

Step 4: Click the "Copy URL" button located on the far right of the affiliate link to transfer the link to the product checkout page to the clipboard.

Please note that the link to the sales page must be present, otherwise the affiliate link will not work.

The created link can be shared with customers or the affiliate. If a customer purchases through this affiliate link, the affiliate will receive the corresponding commission.

Important: only the vendor has the possibility to delete or terminate the affiliate partnership.
